Sid Bergamin

I was poking around architecturaldigest.com today and stumbled upon another gem of a home. The house that designer Sid Bergamin shares with his partner, Maurilo Lomas is the perfect collage of pattern and color. The fact that it's in São Paulo, Brazil doesn't hurt either. Fittingly, the look is sexy, layered and luxe without even an ounce of stuffiness.

My instinctual attraction to ikat and suzani has waned, as they have become ubiquitous on the blogosphere, but this house has turned me right again. More is more, afterall. With pattern anyway. I'm also loving that the front of the house is unassuming in a traditional red brick. A clever little trick, boys.
